UCLA Housing Directory

UCLA groups its on-campus residence halls into four tiers — Classic, Deluxe, Plazas and Suites — and sets housing rates by tier and room type rather than by individual building. Every building in a tier costs the same. Prices below are the room portion for 2026-2027; a meal plan is required on top and is billed with the housing contract.

Classic Halls

High-rise halls with community bathrooms on each floor. The most affordable option, and where most first-years land.

Deluxe Halls

The same high-rise feel as the classic halls but built later, with air conditioning, community bathrooms of four to six stalls, and study lounges on every floor.

Plazas

Newer buildings offering private or semi-private bathrooms, plus single pods in Hedrick Summit, Rieber Terrace and Rieber Vista.

Suites

Saxon and Hitch only. Rooms are grouped into suites, with a bathroom shared between two rooms.
